They are paid to lure you in with pie-in-the-sky promises of $40,000 per year or more.
Many moons ago, MT was a respected, lucrative career. Now? You can literally make more money at McDonald's or Walmart.
If you really need to work from home, and have a quiet environment, I would recommend customer service taking calls, or maybe even captioning.
Please don't waste your money for 3 or 4 cents per line. After you get done setting side money for taxes, you're making at best 1.5 per line. You really cannot live on that.
