You are very wise to ask. A lot of people don't do that--they just decide this is what they're going to do and they don't research.

Gets a big no. I quit 7 years ago and went into a non-MT job. We have lived the life with MT, so we are the best ones to ask. A recruiter for a school is the last person you want to get advice from regarding the MT field.

I was averaging over 20 dollars an hour full time doing MT,and gradually ended up making minimum wage full time in MT.
