One of the best days was walking into Spectrum - MI MT

with the cable box and remote three years ago and saying "Thank you and goodbye." That was an immediate $93 per month in my pocket just for basic cable. I bought a Roku Premiere Plus and never looked back. I use AT&T U-Verse with 1024 GB for $55/month. If I use more than 200 GB, that's a lot. I spend $11.99/month on Hulu, but that's it.

I also use a prepaid plan from Verizon for $30/month with unlimited minutes--I don't stream anything on the phone, just use a few apps and I'm not a big talker, so it's more than enough.
