It seems so many MTs are on SS, married or just using this as blow money and just don't struggle with the same issues as those of us who are depending on this as sole income.

I'm TRYING to get out of this business. As soon as I have an offer that will pay my bills, I'll never look back at this disaster of a career (of late anyway).

I'm a fast editor (400-500 an hour) and transcriptionist (over 90 wpm) and it's impossible to make a living with this anymore. The work just isn't there.
