I said no such thing so don't be putting words in my mouth. I am going by my OWN experience of having lived in Florida. NO gas there and ALL electric, and basically ran the air conditioning constantly and I NEVER saw a $200 per month bill. I was on the budget plan there as well and my electric bill was $100 a month. I also had to put down a deposit of $475 when I first established service with that particular electric company and received that deposit back after 2 years. I have now been in Illinois a little over a year, had to put a $55 deposit down with ComEd and just last week, received my refund check back from them so EVERY utility company is different. I live in a 2-bedroom duplex and I just think that her utility bill is a bit on the excessive side.
