Absolutely exactly what Alpha HR has stated over and over. You are, however, correct with respect to all of the different wage grade dates. As a result, Alpha has implemented a procedures to handle this. This, again, is why they can't provide an exact fixed pay rate because of the hundred different variables they have to track.

Alpha told me they have had people quit because Alpha did not instantly update the wage grade. Alpha is simply following the DOL rules. Again it takes less than 30 seconds to research this yet Alpha keeps getting trashed.
