Enterprise issues? Anyone else... - MTme2

Does this happen to anyone else?? I'm soooo frustrated!! When I begin a new job on the enterprise platform and go to enter the "dictated for" field, nothing happens (ie, I type part of the doctors name and hit enter, and wait, wait, and wait and nothing happens)

Then, when this happens I cannot save any of the work that I've done and have to close out of enterprise, then re-log back on (all the while I'm nervous that the job was given to someone else, as it was not possible for me to save it in my temporary hold when closing out the enterprise platform).

I've contacted the solutions center mutliple time regarding this and have been told that there is nothing they can do as it appears to be a "glitch."

I've also had the "alt G" function not work as well as "alt y" and then the same scenerio, I have to "x" out of enterprise because it just hangs there in limbo.

I'm curious if it is only me with this problem? It can happen maybe once during a day or many times throughout the day. I've had to "x" out of enterprise and log back on 5... Yes 5.... times to get it to work for the last job I transcribed and now it is doing it again on ANOTHER jobe... Ughhhh.

I've about had it with this BS, I don't get paid enough for the stress of this platform.

Thanks for allowing me to vent. I am now going to relog back on and see if it will work correctly THIS time.

In my case, it is more of a major slowdown when using alt+G or alt+Y, apparently when Windows is downloading an update. Exiting out of those functions then trying again sometimes work. Since it is happening so frequently for you, can you request a new computer? Maybe something with more memory or something. Having to spend so much time logging out and in is unacceptable.

I have a problem with the platform freezing occasionally when I double-tap the pedal at the end of the report to hear the cc. Then, like you, I have to log out then in again. If it happens once more, I am requesting a new computer. Good luck to you getting the problem resolved.

You work for Nuance and you have a Nuance-provided computer? I am just curious what is the difference between you and I that you have a company-provided computer and I do not. I'm not trying to be nasty at all, just wondering what the deal is. Are you an "employee" or an IC? If you don't mind answering, I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks.

Did not see anything offensive in your post. You are right for questioning. I was a Webmedx employee--now a Nuance employee. Webmedx supplied my desktop computer a couple years ago. Around a couple months ago I was in the market for a home computer and asked IT what I should look into (memory requirements, operating system, etc) and was told that according to the info he had looked up, the company would supply a new one if mine died. Perhaps that policy has changed since. HTH.

Personally, I would love buying my own so I could get a laptop and use it outside when the day is as gorgeous as it is today here. Instead, I will be stuck in the basement.

Never hangs, quick navigation between pages (like going to Job Edit or searching for a normal).

Have never experienced the issues you describe and I've been working in the platform for years - both new and native.

Since it is a browser-based platform, do you think it could do with your internet speed?

I have similar problems intermittently, but apparently they are - due to provider issues of fluctuating capacity. NM

As far as I can tell we have our TSM and other TSM substitute on her days off. After she signs off in the afternoon we don't have anyone until next morning. At least we never get any Spark messages, updates, etc. during that time or from anyone else. I know Transcend used to have TLs. Maybe other companies that were absorbed did too. Is it just me, or is it quite arrogant for them to request the place in the audio when challenging? Of course, QA/QC never say the audio place where the error is, just the error, and we just have to listen and try to find it. Could someone help me understand how time is accumulated in Enterprise. I clock into Webclock and then log into Enterprise. Work my shift. I can see the hours in Enterprise, let's say for the week 40 hours. Then I log into Webclock and punch out and can see the hours there, let's say 39.50. I am trying to open Enterprise this morning and the screen is small - only takes up about half of my monitor - anybody have this problem before and how to solve it? I rebooted and that didn't help. Everything in Enterprise is very tiny - all other software/Google, etc. opens normally, so it is just the Enterprise platform that is acting funny. I tried all the ways of making it "full screen" and nothing works.....probably going to have to call tech support..... ...

To date, I have had 4 major errors because these words pass through spellcheck (so they must be in the main dictionary) and should be removed because they are not correct. I have a continuous problem with ExText and I cannot find a solution anywhere. I'm using it with Word 2003 professional version. All my Word settings match up the instructions I received from both the company I work for and Nuance. Since switching to Native EP, my lines per hour have been running around 130. Fellow Enterprise platform users, have you ever lost the red box around the text and wondered why? Once it is gone you can no longer move about the report with ease, the facility to go to a particular place by Alt-R or double click no longer works.
