Isn't that a kicker? WHERE IS MY WORK?????

Does anyone know how to manage a workload? My CCM obviously needs help!

Six months ago, it was "We need Monday hours... move them or else."

Four months ago, it was "We need Friday hours... move them or else."

Three months ago, it was "We need Saturday evening hours... move them or else."

One month ago, it was "I have no Sunday coverage... move hours or else."

This month it is "We do not need Monday hours, move them to the weekends or else.

TODAY IS SATURDAY AND I HAVE HAD NO WORK!!! MONDAY, THERE WAS WORK!

We need a CCM FTR Program in place right now!

I work nights. Didn't that new memo say when our wages get cut in September, that we will be paid a shift differential for nights? I don't work weekends, but I do work nights.

You got a memo about a pay cut in September? Please tell us about it! Is it only for former Spheris employees? I have been with the Q for 6 years and didn't get a memo like that. Of course, they have already slashed my pay to the bone and it is slowly killing me.

New Rewards program, pay cut - BH

This is the e-mail that had an attachment about the New Rewards program that we are talking about. It looks like it is to all Medquist employees. We are going to be paid 60% of our base rate for SR, and if more than 5% of work goes to proof, you get less. I'm not too clear about that part.

All MedQuist employees had this implemented in the past. - sm

We got the 60% over a year ago and the QA submissions was back in April of this year.

If you send more than 5% of your work to the QA department, they will dock your pay by 3 cpl (both ASR and transcription) for any further lines done after that 5% mark. Therefore, you will be paying the QA department to correct your work.

So that's why I never of heard of this before. I was hired by Spheris, and then Medquist took over, so now I'm getting the memo.

Everything I send to QA is docked. I pay them for every single report that I send. Usually they can't fill the blank in either and I still get docked. So glad that I will no longer be with them in September! Hallelujah.

I just feel like there is nobody working except me. If I have problems I just forget about it because I know if I get an answer to a question it will be days later if at all. Can anyone tell me where the employee handbook is now located since they shut down Enrich? If anyone has a copy can you tell me or copy me the part about taking time off sick with a doctor note??? I was out last week due to being in the hospital. I had to run and get a dr note for them from the hospital, well send someone, and have it faxed pronto. Why do MTSOs require weekend coverage for every one of their accounts? I have 2 and have work up the yin yang during the week but come Saturday, I'm watching paint dry. My MTSO requires 1 weekend day, at least 4 hours. I changed my weekend shift TWICE to work during the "busy" dictation times and I'm still NJA. I'm wondering what method do you use in DQS to get the best line count for Mmodal? Do you mostly use the mouse/keyboard combo? I also was concerned about the statement in the handbook indicating that even as PT we had to put in an 8 hour day on the weekend. I contacted the appropriate person who informed me that the polices in the handbook are directed to Transcend MLSs that are hired “the normal way,” and not to the MDI MLSs who are coming in via the merger. I work every weekend, and since Christmas there has been little to no work on the weekends. The family practice I go to is using this. The doctor asks questions and constantly inputs into his PC tablet as we speak. Its not looking good for the MT field. Anyone else worried?
