I just feel like there is nobody working except me. If I have problems I just forget about it because I know if I get an answer to a question it will be days later if at all. I used to be under another team lead and I would send an email to the region and somebody monitored the emails and I definitely don't have that now. It's frustrating. Also, one time I called my PM on a Sunday and she couldn't wait to get off the phone with me and kept telling me that it was her family time and she was on her way to church and making sure I knew that I was holding her up. I've never worked for an organization where I was so un-valued. What happened to those employee satisfaction surveys, does anybody still do that or am I showing my age?

...are hidden in ENRICH via a very circuitous route and, of course, the results are very cleverly slanted to make it sound as if we are all so very happy like in the Stepfords. It's a bunch of BS and completely rigged for management's smug self-satisfaction.

I'm sorry to say that there are also times during regular business hours when a TSM is not available. If we need a job returned, there is no one. If we have any kind of problem, there is no one one. We are on our own. We make the big bucks, you know, so we should be able to make big decisions.

Aren't we supposed to be able to contact our TSM or TL on this IM thing? I did the training and looked there and they're not on there. What's it for anyway? Lots of support people on there from India. Is it supposed to be company wide? It might actually be of some use to have questions answered quickly, but not if nobody is using it.

That's using your brain Q! I love it when my superiors are boneheads. MQ's whole upper echelon needs to be removed and replaced with those that have at least half a brain and some MT experience. I have an odd question. If a US trained Medical Transcriptionist works from home (in the U.S.), but then decides to spend 1/2 the year (or more) in a foreign country, is it possible (ethical/legal) to continue working as an MT while in that country? The MT would keep the US address, and bank account. All paychecks would continue to be direct deposited into current U.S. bank account. MT would continue to pay U.S. taxes on all monies earned. I know I am not the only one working 2 jobs or more. Between them I am scheduled 68 hours per week. I have them spread out enough I have "long breaks" in between to fix supper, take a little me time out around the lunch hour and housework kind of gets slighted.
