VP always sticks "lower" onto the abdomen exam. Have to delete it from abdomen and add it to the PE subheading "Lower Extremities." There is no other way to edit it, everybody has to edit it this way. But SR keeps getting it wrong. We all need to have a couple of these examples ready for when Phil the IT guy says it is US editing wrong that causes the program not to learn. Or if you abbreviation says it is everyone with different editing styles causing the VR fiasco.

You can pull up completed documents by that dictator, and you will likely see that your fellow MTs have been correcting this correctly for eons. That is what I did and I let them know that too. IT said, well, if it continues to happen, contact your TSM. Of course I did and there has been no response just as I expected. Before 7 and before IT was transplanted OS, they, well, at least one, IT would just manually change it into the system.

They always shift the blame onto the MTs, BUT WE ARE DOING OUR JOB RIGHT as evidenced by the fact that I can look at many many reports done by my fellow MTs and see that every document was properly corrected, and this has been done for YEARS. Either they have messed up the program and they can't manually changed it, they don't know how or they are just plain too lazy.

on an expensive smart IT group when they can pay us garbage and have it fixed that way..Bottom line, money..Last company I worked for was small, but had the smartest IT guy I have ever run across, he could fix anything. An expensive investment, that does pay off in the end. But that makes sense so it isn't gonna happen.

It's almost 2 months now on Escript and I'm still straight transcribing more than VR. I can see a lot of ready for editing reports but I hardly get any, and not getting my lines either. I guess I am just spoiled that I used to work for a great company, and, of course, it was gobbled up because of their software and the transcription "had" to go with it.
