Is it just me, or is anyone else tired of all of these SS emails telling us about our sm - SSMT

obligations to them --WHAT ABOUT THEIR OBLIGATIONS TO US?!! I still see that "plenty of work TODAY" ad and it makes my blood boil. I have an email formulated regarding this subject with plans to send to my PM and possibly copy it to the VP of operations, although I am not sure it will do any good. At this point, though, it seems there is nothing left to lose. They need to address this issue and explain why they have no work for the current employees yet continue to advertise for more help and promise they have work today, and they also need to outline what is being done to help the situation -- no more excuses about the holidays, the weather, the changing of the tides, etc. I want real answers and I think we deserve that much respect.

[ In Reply To ..]I understand there is supposedly two more LARGE accounts coming on board very soon. So maybe that accounts for the hiring posts. Who knows. It is very interesting to say the least. I usually have enough, but then I am not completely up to par with line count either, but I do understand for the ones that are real die hard producers, it can make or break you. I used to be one of those. Hang in there, I really don't think the grass is greener anywhere else these days. Transcription is not what it used to be AT ALL.... so sad....

Always 3-4 emails after a week's worth of work with the 'corrections'. It is frustrating because I cannot hear what they say was dictated! If I am so bad at this, why keep me?? Although, who knows, maybe other people are getting more emails than I am. Of course, this was an account the TSM was so angry with our group because we "only" scored 99.5% accuracy and thus failed our audit. Can't wait until I am outta here! ...

Please don't listen to those telling you that MT is in demand. Those are either schools. or recruiters who work for MTSOs. I suppose we could twist this to mean that MTs are still needed, but what they don't tell you is that the pay is horrendous these days. It used to be you could file a ticket regarding a word, format or phrase and IT would fix it. Now, all I get is an email stating that the speech engine will learn it from all the MTs' corrections. Are you as tired as I am of making dumb little corrections in the ISR system? This morning, I am spending all my time “uncapitalizing” regular words in the middle of sentences. Where does it come up with the underline in the middle of laboratory values (1._4). It adds a colon after dates and this morning the abbreviation, MD, is after some of the headings.
