Don't say you weren't warned. They are nitpicking micromanagers who QA you to death on EVERYTHING, every comma, period. And they do it with an edge of attitude. If you did that same thing right 50 times but made a mistake and did not do it 1 time, they'll say, you need to read your account specifics carefully, makes no sense. The files are very short and you will not make much money. They pay by the minute. MOST IMPORTANTLY, they overhire and you sit with no work most of the time. Now I know why they are looking for people because they quit after seeing what's the deal, and the work right now is just remotely enough for 2-3 transcriptionists to handle, but they want the reports done ASAP, hence, the overhiring. Also, they expect you to "check back" to see if there's work. What makes it difficult to gain traction is the voice quality is not good if you use ExpressScribe, which they tell you to use. Done venting!

[ In Reply To ..]and those FT benefits, good luck with that because you won't get the hours in to qualify because you can only count the hours you worked when there is work. I know this is the gripe with a lot of companies, but if you're wanting to put up with this, then go ahead and try it. It may be different for you but I've been doing this for a great while with several companies. I thought they were going to be different, sounds great on paper and in their sweet talk, but same old crap!

[ In Reply To ..]I'm sorry all of you have had this negative experience. I have been there with other companies and know it really sucks. However, I have had much of a different experience with them. I have been in the field over 16 years and love my boss more than any boss I have ever had. She is very helpful and always supportive. I have been with them a year and a half and never received a QA score under 96%, my last 100% in fact. Possibly just depends on who you work for and which accounts you are on, but I love this company. Always paid on time, and always know what to expect. Very flexible with hours, etc. which is a lot more than any company even considers offering these days. :(

My boss is super sweet and helpful and I love the QA staff on my accounts. They give great feedback and send encouraging notes to me. Best job I have had in a long time!!

[ In Reply To ..]The thing wrong with your statement is that CommandHealth is not uniform. The offices do not all operate under the same rules with the same programs or the same pay structure. So you happen to have been hired into an office that sounds like it has sketchy mgmt with a not so great account or work availability.
I worked for Transform, one of the CommandHealth companies for five years and had a really great experience until they went to their "free for all" method of assigning work. Once that happened, it wasn't for me anymore so I left. But the overall experience was great managers, on time pay, flexible schedules.
So you'd have to identify where your office was for the warning to actually have any weight in warning others I think.

[ In Reply To ..]The history of the company is that the smaller MTSOs were bought but they each kept their own operations going in their own regions, own platforms, etc. They began changing them over to MDNetwork with the intention of unifying offices eventually. That ended mid stream and they decided to put everyone under the CommandHealth umbrella. So yes, I'm very sure.

[ In Reply To ..]Yes, that's how mine is too - I actually work for TransformMT right now but it is part of CommandHealth. The people are super sweet, wish we had a bit more work, but I'll take having to be flexible for the opportunities I am given to be flexible because of my needs - I came from Transcend/Nuance and they were so picky and hard-hearted this is a wonderful change!

I worked for TransformMT briefly 2 years ago. I just got an email from CommandHealth instructing me to log into AsureForce and submit my timesheet before Thursday. I work for Landmark, not CommandHealth, as far as I know! Does anyone know if this is something new for Landmark, or could it just be some glitch from when I used to work for TransformMT?
