Alpha, CommandHealth, or GIS? - HandWringer

I have job offers from these, read the archives, am scared of all, lol, what would you do?

GIS is offering .075cpl/.0375VR, CommandHealth (MD-IT) .078cpl/.0969 per minute, Alpha 8cpl/4VR, all employee status.

Any current info as to platforms, work availability, etc.

Good for you to have choices! Did you get employee status with Alpha? I saw their ad and it said IC. I was looking for employee, maybe I should reconsider? I have a friend at Command who is very happy, been there almost 8 years. Hope that helps.

I don't know anything about any of those three -- sorry -- BUT .0969 per minute would work out to less than 1/10 of a cent per line. I would just assume a misplaced decimal, but if that's the deal it would work out to either 1 cent per line or 10 cents per line, neither of which sounds likely.

I know with Command Health though that their plan was to take everything to voice recognition, everything medical, though and then it's 4 cpl plus however they calculate bonuses which they do not explain that very well.

Okay, if that really should be $0.969 per minute, the thing is that about 10 lines per audio minute is average -- so that would work out to 9.69 cents per line. If they're paying 7.8 cents per line for straight transcription, they certainly aren't going to be paying 9.69 cents per line for editing. (Okay, so with some VR programs maybe they SHOULD, but none of them do!)

It's account specific paid by the minute to type. Don't kill the messenger. That is what I was told. If not true, then so be it. Already getting the run around from them anyway about what account I'd be hired for. So typical.

So for the other two MTSOs, you were quoting the pay rates the way we're used to seeing them, with pay per line for straight typing/pay per line for editing, and for that one you were quoting the pay for two different accounts, both of which are straight typing, one of which pays by the line and one of which pays by the audio minute. Is that right? If so, then that one that pays by the audio minute is paying quite a bit better than the one that pays by the line (though not to the point that it's unbelievable, as it was when I thought you were quoting typing and editing rates previously).

I work for Command Health. I get .07/line for straight typing, which is few and far between, and .04/line for VR, but there are bonuses with VR and supposedly you can earn as much as .08/line, but I have yet to average more than 0.055/line.

I was with MD-IT for years and then all of that came up that it was going to Command Health. I was told everything was going to VR that was medical and I was offered 4 cpl for VR and 8 cpl as employee. I think they said the bonuses could add up to 6 cpl maybe but I doubt much more than that.

I currently work for Command and hate, hate, hate it now. When it was still MD-IT, things were okay. Then they switched, policys changed and not better for the MTs. They might talk bonuses for the VR, which everything is going to, but is very hard to achieve. I used to love my job and now barely scrape by. I am happy to say I am getting out of MT forever and Command Health helped me make that decision.

I worked for TransformMT briefly 2 years ago. I just got an email from CommandHealth instructing me to log into AsureForce and submit my timesheet before Thursday. I work for Landmark, not CommandHealth, as far as I know! Does anyone know if this is something new for Landmark, or could it just be some glitch from when I used to work for TransformMT? I would ask K, but I don't want to look like a nutcase, not knowing who my employer is. Lol. ...
