They won't be hiring any time soon. They just lost a huge account and are trying to put the MTs on that account in other places. They sent out an email stating that some of us would be let go soon. It's really unstable right now.

How can you say it is "unstable"? We just took on HUGE accounts very recently - and have several bids in.

This is merely a bump in the road, and with the work load lately, I am sure we have enough work to keep everyone busy. I have been here for years and we are continually bringing on new accounts, and in fact this is the first time I have ever heard of them losing one. And we lost it because contract was up, so that will happen from time to time. I would say "unstable" is not entirely true.

It's only a "bump in the road" if you're not the one being let go. When this is your only source of income it's a bit more than a bump in the road and it does feel quite unstable IMO.

I had an interview last Saturday so maybe your being let go is an indication of your work quality? I don't know why they would be wasting their time interviewing for jobs that don't exist.

You were interviewed, but were you hired? All this went down 2 days ago. FYI...I was not one of the ones who lost my job and for that matter I don't know that any of us are going to lose are jobs. It was merely stated that if everyone could not be placed they will let some people go.

i have recently been olffered employment and started working for both companies; however, I am a bit leery still of Alpha according to what I am reading in the archives. I was told by the recruiter at Alpha (after reading some of the posts here) that they do not pay on VBC.
