I am really offended by the comment that us older, more experienced MTs ought to retire. And what are we supposed to use to pay our rent, credit cards, utilities? Yes, I did start drawing my pitiful excuse for a Social Security check last year but it in no way pays my monthly obligations. I do MT work because I fell in love with the field over 22 years ago. The wages have actually decreased in the last 10 years and so have other professions such as massage therapy. Why don't you "retire" and maybe our wages will increase.
