I live in a rural town with no public transportation available and closest town with more jobs 20-25 miles away. I have applied for and actually interviewed for receptionist positions and can't even get hired for that. I can answer the phone and do medical office work just as well as anyone else, but I have 30+ years in the medical field (mostly MT) and exactly as Demaris479 said, "I have no relevant experience to offer" it seems for other jobs. I couldn't even get a job at our local elementary, middle, or high schools....no experience in a school. I have a car, but there are problems that I can't afford to fix.
