Yes, some of us are "stuck at home". I too live in the country where there is no Uber, Lyft, taxis or bus service. I have been an MT for over 20 years and am just hanging on until I can collect my Social Security. What exactly is our alternative? I have applied for other positions but because I have been an MT for over 20 years, I have no relevant experience to offer (other than age). It is truly depressing what these companies are getting away with but what is the alternative? I truly enjoy the freedom to work at home but enjoyed it a whole lot more when I was actually paid a living wage...
