but their labor laws. You work 1 min over in an 8-hour day, they have to pay you OT. A lot of companies do not do business in CA because their employee friendly labor laws. I make around 11/hour because my state has one of the higher min wages. Also Massachusetts where supposedly Nuance is based also has a high min wage, but those people are not getting laid off.
