People do make good money at Nuance. Here are some recent posts that prove it:

I invite you to read both of those topics and see who you find to be more credible: the people posting their "impossible" hourly rate, or the ones claiming they're chained to their desk, part of management, and lying trolls.

If the recruiter will give you access to "the grid" you can see if the claims of the $15, $20, and $30/hr people make sense and add up.

In my opinion, the biggest factor is your accuracy. You say you've been working full-time as an MT for the past 15 years. Is that in a hospital or a clinic or for a service? Are you paid by the line or by the hour? Does someone there QA your a sample of your work every pay period and call out what may seem like minor med and lab errors?

If you've survived in that kind of an aggressive QA environment and you can produce, then you're probably a good fit for Nuance.

Are you in a position to take a part-time job with Nuance and see how it goes for a few months?
