I do wonder if it will apply to me. I did work for M-Modal/Medquist until 2012, when I was laid off. However, I do have another MT job (which is only PT), but I know soon I will be getting the dreaded "no work available" that is inevitable.
Do you know if you can receive TAA benefits if you got laid off (I know MM has a petition #)...but are currently working in MT? Does that matter? I know I won't survive much longer in this field, but not sure I'd be eligible if I were working. I would absolutely LOVE to be able to train for something else before I am completely financially ruined. I'd love to go to Andrews school but there is no way I can afford the $4500 tuition, payments or no payments.
