Why can't we lobby to make it illegal for an MT to be held accountable for bad dictation? I wonder if it would do any good if the Department of Labor and maybe even Health and Human Services were sent a report every time this happened? On the other hand, why can't it be illegal for a healthcare worker to submit unclear, garbled, speedy dictation? Why can't the speakers or the companies that provide their equipment be held responsible for their garbage?
