new compensation plan/changes coming... any news? - sm

Has anyone heard any more details about this new compensation plan rolling out in December? My TSM said she would have a meeting with our group once she "got all the information together," but... big suprise... we still know nothing. Just wondering if there is anyone out there with concrete information on what is going on?

According to the email, the next "phase" is coming out November 1 with all the pay changes and then it is supposed to "activate" on December 25th. Merry Xmas!

Any change Nuance makes is for the benefit of Nuance and NOT their employees. I predict pay cuts and decrease in benefits and bonuses, as always and also right before Christmas. I would brace yourselves and start sending out your resumes. You are better than that.

Be careful about quitting without notice - Job Reference

If you quit without notice, you will not be eligible for rehire and that is important because when you use Nuance for a job experience reference, they will call Nuance and the question that they will ask is if they would rehire you. If you did not give a 2-week notice, they will say no and not have to explain why. You DO want that rehire status just for the sake of getting another job! That is what I did.

I just filled out an application last week and it had specific questions under each employment entry of âDid you give this company notice?â âIf you did give a notice, how long of a notice did you give?â âIf you did not give a notice, please explain why.â I have never seen that on any application ever. I have 2 interviews scheduled next week already outside of the MT industry and I am so excited. The wind of change coming feels really good!

because my pay was drastically cut. This after they promised incentives, bonuses, raises, and increased production on their VR system. It turned out to be false, so if they couldn't give me the courtesy of a livable wage (after promising me one), then I couldn't find it in my heart to give them the courtesy of 2 week notice. It works both ways.

If a potential employer doesn't understand that, then I don't want to work for them, anyway.

Can someone please explain to me this new email we all got this afternoon about the new pay compensation plan rolling out in December? Can anyone explain it a bit more in detail. I have never hated a company as much as I do Nuance!  They should have called it the "Screw the employee compensation plan" because that is just what it is.  I feel like I work in a third world country and get paid 1 or 2 cents a line - that's probably next!  Last paycheck even though I had 99 percent QA and 2 percent QC, I figured it out I made about $9.00 per hour.  I'm sick of this and can pretty much go anywhere for this kind of money.  Can you say CORPORAT ...
