Unhappy with new pay system? - Chavera

I just sent a note to my TSM, copied to the person above her, about my frustration and unhappiness with our new pay system. I suggest that others do the same if they feel the same way. I really wonder how many people are benefiting from the new pay and if others feel as incredibly stressed as I do.

and the response was that they were "still working on resolving the issues" blah blah blah and then of course the canned "We appreciate all that you do" - really??? Also, that was from my TSM, never heard back from senior management.

is better than just taking it lying down. I sent an email also and copied it to all the other TL's that I could get off prior emails, etc. Kept a copy for myself. I was not nasty and just stated the facts as they were and that it is difficult for those of us who take pride in our work and strive to do a good job, but with this added pressure of never knowing what our paycheck was until the last minute just created more mistakes. I do my bills in advance so I know (or used to know) exactly what I had left over and I always set aside a certain amount in savings but am not doing that now because I need to make sure I have enough left to buy groceries, etc. I genuinely like Nuance, love my accounts, like my TL and I told them this but that with this pay scale they are driving the good employees away and if that was their main goal in all this then they have succeeded. Don't take this and just assume your voice doesn't count. At least you can say you tried. The more they get the better.

Hi, I was reading through the board, and I was wondering if you could tell me what the new pay system is that you are speaking of? Did the rates go down? I was thinking of applying; but if the pay system/pay has decreased, I am not sure if I should. I am an experienced acute care MT/ME, over 10 years. Thank you for your help.

Had PTO saved up to take time off at X-mas but because of NJA yesterday and today, I have had to burn it. Maddening. Can never take a vacation because you have to save the time to cover the Thanksgiving and Christmas NJA. As it stands now, I don't think I will have enough to cover the days I asked off at Christmas. I just tallied up what I made this week - under $100. Not bad for a 40-hour week would you say. Had absolutely NO jobs available to me for 2 days. Somehow I have gotten this virus on my laptop and when searching for ways to remove it on the internet (on my desktop), all the sites are either extremely comlicated or want you to download things in order to remove it. My account was switched over 5 weeks ago and truthfully I don't see improvement. One day I think maybe it is getting better and the next day it's worse. It's simply unfair that MQ pays me the same same whether I do a normally dictated report, or one that is handicapped. Handicapped reports obviously take much more time to finish.
