With new plan that starts March 28, QA over 99% and over 99.5% are both $0.0800 a line. If your work is perfect and you get 100% on QA, you still make $0.0800 a line if you type under 150 LPH. Might as well go for speed. None of the things I get zinged for in Fiesa have anything to do with patient safety. Even if I get under 99% on QA I can still make $0.0750 CPL. If I type 1000 lines and get 100% accuracy I make $80 for the day. If I type 1000 lines and get under 99% accuracy I make $75 for the day. That $5 a day isn't worth the stress trying to put out perfect work. I was really trying hard for accuracy so that I could get "rewarded" for my effort, even slowed down so I could go over my work and make sure there were no obvious mistakes, but not any more. Obviously they don't give a darn about me or my family, or if I can pay my bills on my salary. Time for me to start thinking about myself.
"The specific intention of our Patient Safety Compensation Plan is to reward both quality and productivity in support of patient care and safety." What a lie. No reward for quality. They can't even justify this, and they don't care.
