Ok. So I did their anonymous survey on Monday. I was honest and put I am looking for another job, don't agree with this company's values, and would not recommend this company to another MT looking. And lo and behold yesterday I get my first call about corrective action. I've been an MT for 15 years. Always wondered what all this stuff about audits on this board was all about...well now I know. I think they figured out who I was by my IP address or something. Wondering if that survey is just a witch hunt? I feel like my trip down the audit trail is gonna eventually be the end of me having a job with Mmodal. And I consider myself an excellent employee, always on time, hard worker, etc, etc. Feel like they wanna have someone else do what I do for cheaper.

I do think, however, they are doing more audits and taking more corrective actions in general to get rid of higher cpl earners. There have been too many posts here to ignore.

Send a zillion blanks to customers, won't send to QA, still here. Not sure how to get out of here, not quitting.

[ In Reply To ..]Unless all these people begging, wishing and praying to lose their jobs are married or with a second form of income, I don't get how someone could beg, wish, or pray to lose their job - especially in today's job market. In case most people haven't noticed, there aren't a lot of companies banging down doors for people to run and apply. MTs all over the country are saying they have been searching, applying, and testing for the few MT jobs available and some of them have been trying for YEARS with no hope in sight.
I'm a single mom and I NEED this job. Am I the only one on earth praying NOT to be fired? This job is a long, long way from being perfect by any stretch of the imagination but if I lose this job I might as well start looking for a shelter to take me in because I will be SCREWED. I have no other form of income aside from Food Stamps so this is it. Maybe these other people are in a completely different situation and they have the luxury of begging, wishing and praying to get fired but some of us fall asleep every night praying our number doesn't come up.
It just makes me shake my head.

Maybe I don't have what some would consider enough backbone, but I in no way, shape or form would attempt to get fired in such a way.

[ In Reply To ..]UE pays all your bills. In my state, the max UE payment is $920/mo which would NEVER pay my rent, the few bills that I have AND support my son. Again, you must have another trick up your sleeve like some second form of income because for some of us this is it ... this is how we support ourselves.
Must be nice to be in a position to wish your job away - you're very lucky to have such a luxury. I wonder what that must be like.

I did the same thing with Acusis, never fired. - You have to quit - they wont fire you.

Gave a piece of my mind to higher-ups. Warned I had a bad attitude. Attitude still bad. Never fired.
Told I had to work certain hours. Worked any hours I felt like. Not even warned.
Took days off without explanation. No warning, no firing.
Stopped following their numerous, ridiculous individual doctor job descriptions, and just did it my way. Occasional warnings, no firing.
I wanted UE, but couldn't get them to fire me, so I finally just quit. Far less aggravation to just leave than to continue to produce work for those leeches.

I am an MT who has been around for 14 years with this company and I have my gripes like all the rest of you. I took the survey and stuck it to them when it mattered. For example, when they ask if compensation encourages people to do their best, the obvious answer is "strongly disagree" right? They twist the results of the survey to fit their agenda and then say- see the MTs agree that ASR is better or they are sick of running out of work.
