US corporate employees are everyone in the US who are paid hourly. It has nothing to do with us lowly MTs again. When Vern refers to the employee survey results and improvement in satisfaction he obviously means the corporate people.

they were "realigning" job descriptions or something. I think that's what they are talking about. MModal pays it's MTs all over the map right now. I think they want to make it where everyone gets paid the same.

Sorry sista there is no more pay all over the map anymore. All new hires are at 4cpl ASR and the tier rates are the same that they have been since 2006. Most people took a pay cut last year to the top of those tier rates to "pay us all the same" even though many had been grandfathered at a higher rate as compensation after Medquist took over their companies.
All we are waiting now is for the new plan to tell us how low the new rates will actually go. I am predicting that minimums will go up and the line rates will go to 8 and 4 across the board. Every time they cut ASR from 80% to 70% to 60% they stated that the technology would more than make up for the pay cut, which we knew was what they told themselves so they could sleep at night with all their guilt. All they can talk about is the Boost program and how they have made our job so much easier with 7.1. Email after email touting all the good things they have done to "help" us. A pay cut is coming, it is just a matter of when. Don't say you weren't warned.

make over 8/4, including myself. They are laying the ground work right now to do this. I completely agree with the other poster. The Boost program (why else would even give a crap to "boost" our performance hence pay). They will do that and then they will say, "OK!, now that everyone has "boosted" their performance we are going to drop your pay but NOT TO WORRY you will still make the same, as your production went up with all these great things we have done to help you speed it up like Boost and new features on DQS 7.1 that increase your production. Like being able to search Google easier" (IT"S NOT easier).
That's what they mean by getting EVERYONE on the same page, everyone paid at 8/4--new employees are ALL getting that. They have to ease the older ones into it first.

Just read through the survey without answering the questions. Waste of time! No matter how many of us answer it and regardless of what we say, after it is all over they will tell us that MQ employees love the company. This is just a way to try to placate us and make us think that our opinions count. You can all take turns flogging me if I'm wrong. ...
I am an MT who has been around for 14 years with this company and I have my gripes like all the rest of you. I took the survey and stuck it to them when it mattered. For example, when they ask if compensation encourages people to do their best, the obvious answer is "strongly disagree" right? When they ask if compensation is clearly tied to performance....again "strongly disagree." Whether our answers matter or not, it's our opportunity to vent our frustrations with ...

Before the new pay rule game, I made 7.5 cents (3.75 cents for editing). Then when this new pay game started, I made less at 7 cents. However, I find lately I've been actually making noticeably more money with this pay game. You just got to keep quality and pending to QC under control. Every time MQ sends out a survey they use it to justify a pay cut or cesspool or other "great" ideas. They twist the results of the survey to fit their agenda and then say- see the MTs agree that ASR is better or they are sick of running out of work. JMHO but I am not filling it out so they can use my answers to make my job worse than it already is. ...

On the question of "how well does MQ work for you", my reply was..."it doesn't" and I proceeded to say that I am worth and deserve a decent salary, among other things. I felt that was my chance..whether it ends up in the trash can or not, SOMEONE had to read it. ...

It was a survey that said do you regularly schore 99% or higher. if not it asked what 3 things keep you from reaching the 99% and what 3 things would help you acheive 99%.
