I used to be a person with such a positive attitude, always smiling, taking the good with the bad and never letting the bad get me down. Since all the recent changes at Mmodal going back several years, I've become more negative, more cynical, more frustrated, and more sarcastic. I no longer care about the quality of a report when I get a dictator that obviously no longer cares about his/her patient. You know that dictator that has the nerve to call on his/her cell phone while driving down the road, eating something, music playing, kids talking, horns blowing, etc. You know that dictator that calls from the nurses station with things beeping loudly by the phone, the support staff hollering across the room at each other in the background while he/she is sucking on a mint or eating something. You know the dictator that mumbles every word they say and expects you to "read their mind." Top all that off with managers who only communicate mean, sarcastic, and/or bad stuff. Never communicate to say thanks for what you do. Never communicate to introduce each other. Even during MT Week you have to be a "lucky winner" just to feel appreciated. I'm thinking there are plenty others that feel the same way. I'm done
