Hello, can't find it in MMCentral, can't locate the orig email (somewhere in my PCs cyberspace) but thought it was 5% per pay period. Can someone please point me to the HR policy that dictates this?
TIA

I am sooo tired of looking at that email they sent out about this. I thought i read they will be sending us something for us how to figure out this submission lines crap. my head feels like it weighs 100 pounds right now between work and this mess they are throwing at us. thanks for any help. ...
Awww after teleconference with the bigwigs from the Q, telling us how smart and brilliant we are and they trust our ability to make good decisions, they still insist our QA rates will be low enough and we will not get dinged for QA submissions over the 5%, because we will find everything we need in the "reports they are allowing us to see". Yeah right, and everything I touch is going to turn to gold. Are they serious?? I just figure lots of blanks going to clients. No one ...
Report from a new dictator, not English-speaking of course, 84 lines, 10 QA markers. Listened through the whole stupid thing twice to get it down to 10 markers, looked up old reports on the same patient, wasted a great deal of time trying to find anything helpful. So finally sent to to QA. Just checked to see if THEY were able to fill in any of the gobblety-goop. Hasn't been done. This will probably set me over the allowed 5% and for all that horrific work I di ...
i am new inductee in to MModal with 15-days expirence til now..

E-mail from boss stating we needed to get this down as a team. How about putting us back on our primaries? With having to do multiple accounts, it is hard to remember all the "facts" each account commands. When working OT, I never got any familiar accounts. Go figure. Wouldn't it have been wiser to let me work on accounts that I knew and was faster on? I know, this is unrealistic thinking/reasoning.
If the doctors/NPs dictated bet ...
Okay, if I am reading the e-mail from corporate correctly, that means that if a MT produces 5,000 lines a week, then the QA submission rate should be no more than 10% of lines which would be 500 QA markers or at 5% that would be no more than 250 QA markers. Is that correct, or am I reading it incorrectly? Or is my math incorrect? ...
Well, 18 year employee here. (PT for 10 years) came from TL which was GREAT company and then MQ bought out. I have very chronic illnesses that I absolutely cannot go and get an outside the home job. I, as stated, don't have a real problem with FTR, because frankly all of us MT/MEs who have done this job for any length of time should be doing our work correctly anyway. This is something I have always prided myself on, and yes it reflected my production rat ...
On the 3 horrible reports that I had to submit to QA yesterday because of the 3-blank rule, thus losing 3 cpl probably, QA had no more luck filling in the blanks than I and sent them through with 5-10 blanks. That makes me so mad -- not at QA, just in general that I get penalized financially when it was the DOCTOR'S FAULT AND THE PICKY FACILITY'S "RULE." ...
I've had time to think about this whole First Time Right plan. I've seen a lot in my 32 yrs in the business and in my humble opinion, I think it will be okay except for the part about CPL being decreased if the QA submission rate is too high. There must be an alternative other than taking away hard earned pay. Anyone else agree? ...
Things have continued to decline over the past 3 years I worked for MQ. After the 5% submission rule went into effect, I decided I needed a new career, so at the age of 46, back to school for me. I think this might be an important step for many MQ'ers since obviously the rate of pay will continue to decrease and the work demand increase. The fact they do not appreciate our ability to produce top-rated work and are happy with mediocre says a lot for a company tha ...
that are sent to QA, the ones you are forced to send due to the client wanting all reports QA's, a certain dictator, etc....I was just reading in the "Rewards" Plan that these reports are NOT counted towards our QA submission .
I have read posts here where MTs were frustrated because they thought they WERE. Please read (I think page 10 but not sure) where it says they are NOT. If you feel yours are counting against you, copy and paste the paragraph and send it to your CCM.  ...
I can't seem to find anything on MQ Central. I just started last week and already have no work. What am I supposed to do? I cannot get ahold of manager. TIA ...
Let me see if I have this right - I am thinking about going FT and this never applied to me much before. So if we work overtime we get paid our benefit rate x 1.5 - we don't get paid per line for anything over that. Correct? ...
For the past few weeks I have been getting NJA all night every night! I am barely making my hours or money that I need. Am I allowed to make up some of this time during the day. I have fixed my schedule so the time I work is the time I have allowed myself with my 3 kids and all the demands of my household. I really can't work any extra at night. I barely sleep as it is with getting off the computer at 1 am and putting the kids on the bus at 6:30 am. I thi ...
I know this isn't what they intend, but I'm wondering if we need to stick to our schedules anymore. If we can "make it up" in the same day, is it necessary to wait til our scheduled start time if we usually run out? I mean, why wait til our scheduled second shift hours if we're afraid of running out? Can't we get on earlier ("same day") and get whatever is available then? I'm not saying this is fair to those who are scheduled earlier, but there ...
So help me understand this "new" policy. Are we taking a cut in what we accrue for PTO? I have over 15 years with this company and find it hard to believe longevity/loyalty do NOT count. So as I read it, the person that started yesterday will accrue at the same rate as me?
"full time employees will accrue 0.059 hgours of PTO for each paid hour up to a maximum of 4.62 hours acrrued in a pay period." HUH?
Not real clear to me. So we only get 4.62 hours per pay period? Havin ...
I would love to know how people are handling this new NJA policy. As I understand it, if we get NJA during our work schedule, we are supposed to keep checking back for work through our shift. We are allowed to work at any time up until midnight to get in our hours for the day without approval. I really think if they have no work during your shift, they should pay your benefit rate for the hours there is no work. I know some states have this, but mine does not. It just does not seem rig ...
Anyone heard when the new PTO policy is going to be rolling out. I thought they said it would be in January, so does that mean in Nuance time March/April? Maybe they have to wait until they have "perfected" Fiesa. This post audit M crap .. I feel soooo sorry for them having problems.
My TSM has been on conference calls a lot the last week or so. Much more so than usual, but getting no info from her. Anyone else have a TSM that is sharing info? ...
Can anyone explain the no work policy? If you are not in one of those few states listed, does that mean you recieve your state's minimum wage rate for hours missed? Am I reading this wrong? ...
A couple weeks ago someone on here mentioned that we do not have to use our PTO for NSA. She advised me to contact HR, which I did, who also told me the policy is we do NOT have to use our PTO for NSA. The conflict is, my SM sends out emails prior to time card approval stating we have to use PTO if we have it, or submit PTO for unpaid if we have no balance. I am curious to know if my SM just isnt aware of the policy, or if she just wants us to use our PTO so our hours will all be accounted for. ...
New to the company. No work available. What is the no jobs available policy? Spend the rest of your night checking back for work or do you get paid for work availabilty? ...
When we got the New Work Availiability Policy last week I replied and made a suggestion that they go back to the idea of a 12-hour shift within which to get your 8 hours. I pointed out that it would eliminate the work tickets and all the other administration and mumbo jumbo that goes on trying to get everyone's work hours in. People would be more likely to be able to get their 8 hours in if they had 12 hours to look for work. It would increase employee satisfaction being able to ...
