Can someone tell me the policy for downtime? Do we log out? How much downtime do we get paid? Cant get into MQ Central to find policy.

I think CCM is allowed to give you 1 hour, but not sure. You must log out of TEAMWORK ASAP so your PTO doesn't go down.

but of course I can't get in to look either. I remember one time we were down for like 2-1/2 days and I got paid something like 16 hours.

I am PT and I have gotten DT pay. Why should we be different? If it is their fault, we should be paid for the time we were available to work and could not.

I'm with ya. But last time something like this happened and I did all the right things - jumped through the hoops, got ticket numbers, etc. Then she tells me - sorry - part-timers don't get downtime. I'm going to fight it this time though!

if it is technical problems on their end I believe they pay up to 3 days of 8 hours a day which is 24 hours of DT. A few years ago they had software issues and were down almost 3 days and we got paid 24 hours of downtime for this.

I must have gotten 24 hours then also, because I remember I didn't have to make any time up or take PTO.

First of all Log out of Schedule Source. Then, go to QCare and create a ticket for the incident ASAP. You can no longer do this through the phone line obviously because they have cut down on the tech support so much you will never get through. You will be sent an e-mail with the ticket number (whenever the e-mail finally comes back up too). Then write your CCM and let them know. If this continues through your shift, you qualify for downtime the entire amount of time it is down during your shift for the day.

I live in California and my old CCM used to give me downtime when there was something wrong on THEIR end that stopped me from working. My new CCM told me No downtime for me. She said because it was the DEP, not DQS, that I would not get downtime. What's the difference? I couldn't work because of their fault? How do I fight this?

Can anyone tell me where to access the downtime policy? I went into MQ Central and went to HR, POLICIES, EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK. Cannot find the policy there.
Also, at the risk of appearing stupid, I have no idea what DEP is, and creating a ticket.
Can someone help me out? I've only worked for MQ for 1 month and no one covered that.

Well, I found the link, but cannot get into it. Every time I click on it, it does absolutley nothing.
The link is in MQ Central ... HR ..... Policies. The links on the left side of the screen, supposedly, but can't get into it.
Can any of the "seasoned" MQ employees help?

Okay people, if you were in the middle of your shift, or you could not sign on for your shift, make sure you filed a Q-care ticket and notified your CCM. Mine has been sending E-mails throughout the day stating that she KNOWS that DQS is still down even though it shows a green light. Just curious if MQ is going to try to ignore yesterday's DocQscribe crash. My CCM is on vacation so I just put an alert on my timecard. The RTL told me that it was not an alert and deleted my note. Has anyone gotten an email from BR or PK regarding Fluency downtime on May 18 and how much we will be paid? I put downtime for the entire time, because I get paid by lines not by sitting at a blank computer screen waiting for work.
