Not just you. Crappy Doctors Plus Crappy Sound today. - Crazy Aces

Sounds like they are dictating through a toilet paper tube while gargling rocks, at Chuck E Cheese. Ever since the All-Thumbs meeting, where they told us we had the cheap e-mail system, I think they have been changing over to a cheaper (didn't think it was possible) sound system.

My experience for the most part is I don't ever get my primary or secondary accts to do on the weekend. And, today no work for over 45 minutes. Go figure. That is after they had an incentive for the weekend to work over. Feast or famine is the name of the game.

It was definitely worse than usual this weekend. Nearly every file had sound issues and if they didn't the doctors couldn't seem to pronounce words correctly
That makes me feel better - killing me

Both Sunday and today were unusually crummy for me. Worst dictators from every facility and hardly a report that I could make out at normal speed.
Today I will make less than half of what I normally get because all I've gotten today are crappy, hard to understand dictators, both ESL and English-speaking. Seems like all I get lately are the hard to understand, mush-mouth dictators. Guess Nuance doesn't want their MTs making quota. Sorry. I just had to vent. ...
Just got the email today that effective 10/01/2010, my MTSO (whom I will not name) will no longer be paying holiday pay (aka 1.5 cpl) for any holidays anymore b/c of "the economy." R U *** kidding me? First of all, I thought that the recession was officially over in 2009, but I could be mistaken. Secondly, I know holiday pay and OT and all that is a "perk" and not required by law to pay us, but yet they expect us MTs, er me, to work all major holidays for the same crappy cpl as always ...
And by the crappy work I mean ONLY the lowest paying jobs. This is so totally rediculous. Of course the lower paying/new jobs at least is work, but that seems to be all that's left anymore. Can't even get up early and get work.
I'm outa here. ...
I'm a tier 3 MT who works part time. I've been pretty much happy with shift, pay, work types, etc., until this past week. All of a sudden, everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING) is out of TAT, mostly ER reports, and just horrible sound files. Lots of static, "bubble" sounds, canny sound like you get with speaker phones. On top of all that, my CCM announced on Thursday she was leaving and was gone on Friday. First thing new CCM did was whine about all the ou ...
I know it sounds petty, but at least with OSi you felt appreciated when the mailman brought you the little box with the OSi coffee cup full of Christmas candy and a card. Now, just another workhoarse . Thank you Nuance, Merry Christmas! ...
A $2,500 deductible for individuals? Are you nuts? $5,000 for families?
Are you going to give us ANY paid holidays? Or are you going to make it so we no longer get any paid holidays just like the rest of your poor employees?
As a publicly traded company, you should be ASHAMED to be offering your employees such lousy benefits.
And thank you, Webmedx losers at the top who sold our company to one that is obviously going to make our benefits even more unaffordable in addition to sending a portion ...
I just want to know how to keep lines per hour up if they can't even fix flaws in their software. This is like expecting a car mechanic to fix a car without the proper tools, like a surgeon without his instruments, like a pianist without a piano, like a photographer without film, like a painter without paint, like a gas station attendant without a pump, like a seamstress without a needle, like a mailman without mail, like a skydiver without a parachute, l ...
I've been gone for a month now. I feel like bricks have been taken off my chest. I don't feel the vomit rise in my throat when I checked Fiesa. I work somewhere else for a little bit less money (about $20 day less), but it is so worth it. There are companies hiring now. The pay might be a little less than Nuance, but take it. In other small companies, the people you work for are nice and they care like the company I came from before Nuance. ...
Who are we supposed to contact when we need technical help on a Sunday? There used to be a number to call but I don't have it anymore, which is my fault, I know. Fluency won't let me in, saying my new password is not recognized, yet it let me into Teamwork. Man o' man - it's always something, as Gilda Radner used to say. ...
Just as I suspected would happen...no work! I have no PTO to take and I know this entire week will be a struggle if there is no work very early Sunday morning. Not sure what is going on or where all the work is...oh yea...probably INDIA!!!!! ...
My scheduled day/shift to work and NJA. Finding I am unable to make up these hours later in the week. It's not a wonderful life at all. Can't sleep at night wondering where the money for bills, etc., will come from, wondering who is next for termination.
I am looking for another job but no luck so far. Will be getting even harder in my area as a MAJOR employer is laying of over 1000 workers. It's getting worse out here.
Hanging on by a thread. ...
Is it because they are all dictating on cell phones or what? I am tearing my hair out trying to hear my usually prime dictators because of heaps of static and background noise. Grrrr!! ...
Anyone out there working a 2nd shift on Sundays? Are you running out of work? I know it's slower than slow around the holidays, but the holidays are over and I'm getting really tired of running out of work on Sundays. This is inpatient, so the day of the week shouldn't matter, right? #*&!!@%!&#!!! ...
I have never run into NJA on a Monday morning. I had the hardest time getting the day off yesterday. (I have 3 weeks of accrued PTO which I have to take before December.) My CCM didn't respond for nearly a month. When I started reminding her every day for a response, she responded saying if I get the day off, I have to work a Friday. To make it up? She says she has a hard time staffing Sundays. Well I have a HARDER TIME SACRIFICING THEM FOR THE LAST 9 YEA ...
Hint: If you have no MTs working on Sunday on a major account and a bunch of jobs go out of TAT, do you clasify that as stupid on management's position? ...
For the first time ever, I just got a "No Studies Available" on Enterprise on a Sunday night. Never in all my years with Nuance and before that Webmedx has this happened, even on a holiday there is always work at night.
Thank God I have another part time job!!
...
I already work weekends. They say it is for TAT. Work is already thin on weekends. This is not fair to the people who were hired for M-F. Sat or Sun schedules was the reason I turned down Spheris a long time ago. I only work weekends now because I have been going to school to get out of this MT rat hole. ...
I cannot believe this, I look on my schedule today and all the notes I put with Ticket numbers have been taken away and in their place 0 hours!!!! I was one of many who could NOT work Sunday due to DQS being down, down, down, down. Then we are told to wait until Support tells CCM when the time was. Now I am only to assume I am royally sc***wed over again. Did anyone else get the downtime we SHOULD HAVE? So upset, so upset so upset so upset. ...
We are required to work a full-time schedule that includes either Saturday or Sunday, every weekend, forever. The only time we can take a full weekend is if we take a PTO day. But the problem is that we don't get paid holidays anymore (unless we work), so we are almost forced to take many of those as PTO days. Our sick days come out of our PTO days. I guess what I am saying is that the thought of having hardly any full weekends "forever" is very disheartening. The company ...
