I was working 2 jobs and not able to keep up with both jobs, so ended up getting fired, and mgr said I would be blocked from reemployment via my SSN. Wondering if anyone has been rehired in such a situation. Do they really block SSNs from re-hire? She was actually a wacko and her office staff people were doing all the work while she would fail to show up for work weeks at a time, unable to be reached. While my work was excellent, I just couldn't get my hours in. I know, my fault back then. TIA

To supplement my pay. I already have a full-time job. Just looking for a part-time job. Have been researching various companies and don't meet some of their requirements as far as various s/w, etc. Also, like the fact that they now pay biweekly. Never had problems with my paycheck being on time when working for them in the past.

I have been here 16 years, and let me tell you that 12 years ago, this was a DREAM JOB! It is now a nightmare. But, if you are adamant, test and apply and see what happens.

Part time is 24 hours, by the way. With a schedule, not as you please.

Actually, I can imagine how horrible it has become. I already work for the other nightmare big MTSO, so used to a schedule. The company I worked for since leaving the Squid was wonderful, however, they were bought out and now it sux big time. Reasons I stay: Love my long-time accounts and work types I get, and retiring next year, or at least going part-time. Thanks for the posts. Guess I will continue looking.

I love docquscribe and the company that screwed me over making me quit, I was on a DOCQ account..so it was just easier..Have tried a several different companies and Im just real comfortable with this program..And Im counting months till retirement, its at 50, but still there is an end in site...LOL

12 years ago, they were still using MTShell - right?

Im bringing in at least $1000 every two weeks about $150 to $200 shy of what I use to make before being outsourced, but it beats no job at all. My CCM doesn't bother me, my quality coach is decent and Im good. No complaints here.

Everyone is different and everyones experience is different, but I enjoy my team, my accounts, no one bothers me and I like it like that. Good luck on your hunt and hope you find the right fit.

Wow, I used to make $1700 every two weeks for 30 hours a week, roughly 27 to 30 an hour back in 2006 before all the changes. But I guess, if you are happy with 12.50 an hour, have at it.

Its better than 4cpl. Too each its own. - Could be worse.

I use to make more myself, but like I said it could be worse and for the record I actually average between $13 to $14, so after taxes and everything else, I would say it beats most jobs.

A friend of mine took a job in medical records when we were outsourced and she makes less than that.

It's fine if you are secondary income. Level of compensation for - level of work done is what counts. SM

If you feel the level of compensation is fair pay for the level of exertion you have expended, good for you. My income is for the groceries and the extras, I dont have to support a family. I think this is what the MT field is coming to. It wont be a one parent support a family income but will be a nice, stay at home, secondary income.

My kids are all grown and out on their own. Done - supporting a family.

I gave no notice either time but they still hired me again (twice). That was probably about 8 and 10 years ago.

Third time wasn't a charm though. MQ, for me, was the bottom of the barrel. I work for Nuance now and bad as it is, it is so much better than I remember MQ being.

OK ... when you're in Fluency Manager, "status" ... where you see the list of facilities and number of reports. When I click on the names of a few accounts that I'm assigned to, it takes me to a page that has a sort of "box" that has listed company, contact, type of company, etc. One of those fields is called "Account Manager". This is the TSM's name that manages that account. None of my accounts has my TSM's name in that field - it has someone else� ...

Thought that after not having enough work for a couple years now and always chasing work, I'd now have a "real job" as an employee and wouldn't have to worry about a steady paycheck and paying the bills anymore. I have just read a few emails that are so filled with deception by management I wonder if managers are ever embarrassed to spread this BS. We were just sent a list of how our team did on audits for February so far, listed by ID#. Out of around 50 workers, three of them had 7-8 reports audited (including me, which I passed at 99.8), two with 5 and two with 4. The rest had 3 and below reports audited.
