Paychecks from Omniscribe - profpat

Have worked for this company and have not received a paycheck. Anyone have this problem with Omniscribe?

When was the paycheck due - And how long have you worked there?

Did they give you a pay schedule? If so, look to see if it's due to you yet. Also, you don't say how long you've worked there. If it's only a few days or a week, you need to find out how often you get paid. Most places is twice a month.

If you know the check is late, you'll have to contact the HR Dept or your supervisor.

The least she could do is email us. I emailed her asking about paychecks with no response. I called and still got no response.

She never returns my phone calls. I gave up trying. nm - no payday

At least that would get her to be more organized as far as pay and such. Let the accounts get behind. I had a job once where the lady would pay VERY late. My checks were so backed up, I couldn't tell which check was for which week, when I did get one. When I would question her, she would ALWAYS say she had been so busy, she hadn't had time to do payroll. I finally told her if she couldn't pay me on time, I would move on, because I couldn't stand anticipating and wondering when my pay would come. She promised to stay more on top of it and she never did, so I had to quit.

I don't think she is too busy. I think she just doesn't have sm - no payday

the money. You're right, though. First time you can blow it off as a glitch maybe, but when it is every time, it is time to move on. It is not asking too much to have a reliable payday.

payroll account with enough money in it to pay their employees for at least 3 months and shouldn't have to wait for the clients to pay their bill to pay the transcriptionists. If not, then the person should say up front that at least one month will be held out so maybe then the money would be in from the clients to pay the transcriptionists.

Look, she expects you to meet TAT times and handle your obligations. It is only fair that she handle her obligations to you in a timely manner. I would not work for a person who stiffs their workers. It shows a lack of professionalism at the very least and something far worse at the other end of the spectrum. Sounds to me like it is time to move on. Good luck!

I work for a very pleasant, friendly, small transcription company, BUT paychecks more than a couple of times are not getting to me and they say it's the post office, and to contact my postmaster. I ask for a reissue and then do send, but its then a week or more late. Once one of their checks bounced!! I just need to vent. I am an IC who is supposed to get paid every week by my employer. Her checks were on time at first, then 1 day later, 2 days later, 3 days later, etc. I went on vacation for 1 week. I decided to look how many hours left in PTO and it was deducted today because I used some PTO on this paycheck that should have been deposited in my account yesterday morning. I think that is good news? Payroll doing their job? Maybe it means paychecks should be in our accounts in pending mode which should be deposited first and then deductions taken out next. I thought I found a good company to work for until I got a two returned checks from them in the mail. The first time I thought mistakes can be made but AGAIN my check was returned.
