I was terminated in March and now I cannot find a job. I have been working for 31 years, and this past account was a disaster. (I worked for 2 years at this company but moved to another account and had to learn so many, many things, and one of the docs were so bad, that when I asked for help I instead got a critical error. The TSM's seemed to not like me and would not help me learn VR (because my immediate supervisor went on leave of absence). So I ran out of work after 5 hours every day and was not allowed to have one blank for these picky doctors.
Anyway, how do I tell my next prospective job that I was fired? Nobody will hire me. I already tried with many companies. I have to lie and say I was laid off, but I don't know what to add to this.
Can anyone help with suggestions? PLEASE?

There are good tips in here. Leaving them off resume is one of them. Search google and be sure to put in 2013 as there are newer ways of approaching this (getting fired is happening a lot for seemingly no reason everywhere). It comes down to personality contests with some MTs in this business when supply and demand are out of whack - so personality conflict is also a reason to consider.

In this industry whom of us has not been fired? One company at the end of your first year will offer you a 1-cent per line pay reduction no matter if you were the best employee they have or you get fired.
Just put "Not enough work," and move on. It's the norm for this industry, and anyone in this business who would hire you can understand that perfectly.
Plus, if they call your ex-employer they are only allowed by law to verify the dates you were employed by them and if they would hire you back or not.
You don't need a missile to kill a gnat, and you don't need a hairy in-depth explanation about why you aren't working for that company.

and when I did decide to look for another job I had worked so little time for that company, did not even list them in a resume. Jobs are ridiculous now days, not 1 blank for someone who cares less about their dictation?

Just tell them you quit because there was no work and leave it at that. Unless you give them the name/number of a specific supervisor there as a reference, they won't be calling and digging into your info. from there anyway.
