of MModals coding program, because none of us know what is in it except for the coders taking the program. Then, when we ask what is in it, Coder won't let them answer. There is a whole slew of unnecessary responses to a question about CPT coding, and none but the very end came from an MModal coder. All that I wanted to know was if they were taking it. I did not need commentary from another coder(s) regarding what they thought was in it or what they believed should be in it. The fact of the matter is, unless you are taking the course, you don't know what is in it, so why are you commenting? Can we not let the MModal coders answer if the question is posed to them? Do we not believe they are big enough girls to handle answering questions?

I'm sure Coder thinks we are big girls and boys. - But there had been no answer.

I hereby deputize Coder to speculate on my behalf, because I am getting a little weary of posting on here only to have whatever I say twisted into shape to fit the profile of MModal as the Evil Empire. I don't think there is anything we can answer that cannot somehow be interpreted to mean something negative about the program.

Coder knows what he/she is talking about, and I am happy to have them speak up with an educated opinion, especially if no one has answered in 5+ hours! Because I for one don't really have the energy.

There is a someone trying very hard to make everything negative like you say. Very easy to spot. Let's ignore that. We are very interested in your new adventure. We also know you may not have time because you will be buried deep in learning and respect that too.

expert is you, and the other trainees. Any of us can tell you what we think should be trained and speculate on how we think it should be accomplished. Some coders can even claim to tell you what test you can pass by what book you are studying! But unless they have taken your course (and they obviously haven't), they can only tell you based on their experience, not yours. You are the experts here, and the only ones.

I honestly don't think I've ever heard the words "expert" and "MModal" used together in the same sentence! That actually made me laugh out loud.

Not wanting input from people who currently work as coders and know what is needed to find a job and stay competitive is not a good thing. Sorry, but having spent a couple of days in class does not make someone an "M-Modal coder." If you don't want feedback, don't ask for it. If you don't want anyone else to answer, you need to say that in your subject line. I've read coder's posts, and to me it only sounds like someone genuinely interested and trying to help you. You will find out on your own anyway.

However, it was hardly worth making such an issue, you even began a new thread to point out the error. My advice would be to check the attitude, learning to code is a very humbling experience.

Trying to find out more about M*Modal's training model. Having other coders jumping in with their opinions about what is being trained is not helpful. I am already aware of how coders are normally trained. Making judgment calls is not helpful either. I am just looking for the facts about their training so far. That is something only they can answer.

VR is far from perfect, we all know that. It is terrible with names, he and she, and numbers versus dates. How many times have I seen things like glucose 01/10/2013? Too many to count! I informed them of an error regarding a medication output by ASR,something sometimes said, but was not dictated. I was told this was programmed into the software, and they could not (i.e. would not) correct that. I have accused the software (programmers) of putting in often-said output rather than what was actually dictated which they have previously denied. We were told recently a doctor was complaining about the quality of our reports. I thought that strange as he has no accent and speaks very clearly.
