My company was acquired by Nuance a few months back and so far the only thing that has changed has been e-mail addresses. Paystubs even still reflect our original company name. Will they keep our proprietary platform or make us change to eScription soon? Also, we're all ICs. Does anyone know if we will be required to become Nuance employees at the first of the year? ...

Has anyone gotten the swine flu shot, as in those working in hospitals or in home. They say it is on the rise again and I am debating on whether to get it. OK, here's the scoop. Anyone out there notice this? That it takes twice as long to do an op note anymore in ASR what with all the cutting, pasting, standards, going back to check whether or not to delete headings, blah, blah. It used to be a cinch to simply bring in one of my standards and make the appropriate changes according to the audio, but now with ASR, it takes twice as long.
