Anyone out there notice this? That it takes twice as long to do an op note anymore in ASR what with all the cutting, pasting, standards, going back to check whether or not to delete headings, blah, blah. It used to be a cinch to simply bring in one of my standards and make the appropriate changes according to the audio, but now with ASR, it takes twice as long. I feel like I'm running in place and going nowhere just to make ASR learn something. It's such a waste of my time anymore. No wonder my line count is dropping - all of their rules makes me trip over myself, never get into the groove needed to make a good line count. It's simply absurd.
Second pet peeve: Remember when they told us how excited we should be that the doctors' ADT list will now be in "real time." What was that supposed to mean? WHY does it take months for a doctor's name to finally get onto the list anyway? Is that what's meant by real time? I could transcribe for a doctor for months until I notice that his/her name gets automatically populated in the ADT screen. Obviously that doctor's been on staff for months already - why does it take so long to appear so we don't have to manually put it in there? More broken promises.
