on a certain account or platform they are accustomed to? In every company I have worked for, it seems like once I say I will help out on an account that is behind (usually because it is an awful account to do), I end up assigned to it...or I end up on the account that is changing platforms, taking a pay cut, and is total chaos. It seems so easy for everyone to give that speech, "just give it a try and things will get better," yet when I say it is not working out for me, I am then told that I need to be replaced before I can move on. Since I wasn't on the account or platform in the first place, how the h$ll does that work?
I'm in a tough spot right now, and I really don't want to learn a new job, but it seems like I am going to have to quit or get fired to get out of this situation. How do you people who have done an account for years stand your ground successfully?
