Former MDI/Transcenders - Oddity on W2 received today - puzzled

On line 12b there is an amount (which is actually my total income minus the social security and medicare withholding) with a "W" code. The "W" code is associated with employer contributions to a HSA (which didn't happen). Anyone else see this on their W2?

No, I don't have anything on line 12b. But, I still have not gotten an MDI W2 for the month of January 2010. Anybody get theirs yet??

Still haven't received January 2010 from MDI either...sm - Should we report it?

had the same income amounts, but the one from Paychex had the odd 12b entry...got another one today without the entry.

Mine came yesterday, postmarked 1/31, so you should be getting it any day. When you do, see if you have an entry on line 12b as well...

I should have mentioned the first one (the one that came yesterday) was in a Paychex envelope. Today I got a second one from MDI that doesn't have the line 12b entry. Bizarre...

I made in 2010 was the one month MDI was still MDI. I have zero regrets about leaving Transcend a few months later but I do feel a bit defeated to be working harder/longer for less money at the company I am with now. I really miss the old MDI.

Since PTers don't earn PTO, how do you handle taking days off? I'm considering a schedule that will involve most weekends (to supplement my FT job). While I don't need to work as much as they require (20 hours), I do need a little extra spending money. Will taking off a weekend day or 2 a month be a problem? It is not "mandatory", but if you do not do it, you will be written by your SM asking you to. Same thing. So tiring, day in and day out. I also was concerned about the statement in the handbook indicating that even as PT we had to put in an 8 hour day on the weekend. I contacted the appropriate person who informed me that the polices in the handbook are directed to Transcend MLSs that are hired “the normal way,” and not to the MDI MLSs who are coming in via the merger. Maybe I'm the eternal optimist. My eyes are wide open, and I've been through previous crappy merger. Maybe The Worst Case will indeed happen. I'm just wondering. I've been with Transcend going on three years now and have never made my minimum lines for part-time. I've always just worked my shift. It was never an issue of me hitting my $450 or not. Now all of a sudden my job is in jeopardy because I'm not hitting it. I have an interview with Transcend on Monday and have read conflicting stories on this board about whether or not Transcend MTs run out of work. Some you are saying you never run out; some say they hardly ever run out, and some say running out of work is a problem for them. What's the story on this? Also, how is the health insurance? Does anyone know if the 8-hour per weekend day requirement stated in the "handbook" online applies to part-time people? Did anyone ask about this in the conference call? Do they really expect people to work every single weekend and never have one off unless they schedule it off?
