I was informed by this company that my services were no longer required 3 months shy of my 20-year anniversary due to "quality issues." They provided me with three supposed mistakes I had supposedly made, not one of which was credible. This after being for years on what they called one of their "elite teams" (translation: you're good, so you get the worst of the worst without any additional compensation whatsoever) and honestly seldom ran out of work and received very little criticism and much praise, consistently, over the years. I never felt being dumped was because of age but rather because of my pay rate.
