I've changed my mind about jobs a couple of times - W/C Reviewer

after the interview. I just said that I wished to withdraw from consideration for the job, or decided not to go forward with the application process. No big deal.

I've also canceled a couple of interviews by saying that I had accepted another offer. Many HR managers have stated that they would rather someone cancel if they've changed their mind than going through the motions and wasting their time. If asked why, I said that I decided that the new offer was a better fit and left it at that. I kept it short and diplomatic since you never know who might see your resume again, and said thank you and goodbye. They'll hang up the phone or hit send and move on. Next...
