We don't have to change any of those starred items. Change what you can change, work within/around what you have in the meantime. Existing MTSOs say they can't pay us that. Create a new type of MTSO that can with the methods mention and others to identify. And I agree you can expand horizens, try offering virtual assistance. Many docs soured on med records/transcr. staff due to some negativity about documentation completion, or their dictations, etc "tail wagging the dog." Sweeten up and be more helpful/ marketable/ valuable with other services. Approach administrators with a salespitch (we can recruit a better salesperson than myself :), that still saves them money over having their own inhouse staff. Other ideas. If you want to give up you can, and if others choose to not give up and go on, they can. That doesn't make them delusional, it makes them determined.
