To top all of that off, you are paid usually as an IC, so no benefits or taxes whatsoever, you are paid around minimum wage, unless you work 24/7, which is what they would like you to do. No incentive, no differential, no nothing, just sit and transcribe and/or edit. I have done this for many years and it has truly reached a new low.
