These companies expect way too much for what they are willing to pay. First off, they send you attachment after attachment with client info on them, that we have to read and study at our own expense, and of course there are always a bunch of them, because of the multiple accounts most MTs have to work on.
There is no learning curve, no one you can ask anything about, unless you send it to QA and then it usually gets torn to ribbons.
These ruthless places want 100%, no matter what they say. They want correct grammar, despite what is being dictated. They want punctuation, which voice messes up so bad, you spend half your time doing that.
The dictators makes mistakes, the voice wreck just tears the report to pieces and yet we are responsible and need to be "perfect." It totally blows!
