How do single independent contractors do it? - ...health insurance Posted: Feb 9th, 2017 - 1:00 pm
I feel like I have my hands tied with keeping my position at M*Modal and only having Nuance as an alternative (employee based companies) because of how much my insurance would be if I were an IC instead.
My question is for those who are IC and have their own health insurance, no family plan, just for themselves, do you find working IC is doable? The only reason I am really hanging in there at M*Modal is to save money on my insurance each month because of my premium, but I would love to be an IC to have a more flexible schedule.
