egregious behavior - endless

Well, for starters, there was the invalidation of contracts that happened when a certain monster reorganized and changed its name; the class action lawsuit that verified MT's lines had been miscounted 2 to 1, with a multimillion-dollar settlement MTs saw not one penny of but was instead paid to an "oversight organization" (AHDI) that was supposed to prevent further abuses; there is the complete lack of transparency in communicating with employees about our future including years of lies about us "always having a job," "things will get better," "we're working on it," and the granddaddy of all lies: "You should make twice as much editing ASR." There is the refusal to admit on the record that offshoring has affected us when we try to find funding for re-education. There is working full or part-time as statutory employees and still never having a clue what our pay is going to be on a given pay date, due to uneven audio quality, availability of work, incomprehensible pay scales, and outright wage theft by being penalized and docked according to a QA system which is wildly subjective (i.e., reliant on grammar and other systems that are art not science and subject to individual grading whims). There is the fact that we haven't seen a cost of living increase in 10 years or more; rather, our pay keeps steadily decreasing, and it is not unusual to be hit with huge random pay cuts at a moment's notice. All this while the CEOs of the big MTSOs are making more than 300 times the people who make it all possible.
