Thinking how to do this without losing people in details, and I am not as familiar with IC status as companies I am used to did not use them. Maybe at the point where it mentions health insurance benefits may be available, we could add a section that says some companies overuse IC status to avoid benefits altogether. Do you as an IC set your pay rate or do they say how much they will pay an IC? What conditions do they require of you for hours available, production quotas, performance standards, etc? And I think an addition that all workers, emp or IC often run out of work, expected to make up time...
