MTs in Canada - lynlou

I couldn't help but notice a comment posted by one of the people who signed the petition who is from Canada. She said MTs are treated much better in Canada. I disagree with her. While some MTs in Canada may get better treatment (some in the US probably do as well), the two larger MTSOs, M*Modal and Nuance, are doing a lot of damage here too, reducing the rates of MTs to slave-labor rates all the while having too stringent productivity and quality standards. This in turn leads to smaller MTSOs reducing their rates as well or to never increase them. Corporate greed is destroying what was once a good career choice for those that enjoyed the work. The hospitals that outsource the work are closing their eyes on how the MTs doing the work remotely are treated. Out of sight, out of mind.
