Yes, that's the point. MTs have bent down and taken this 4 cpl VR and accepted this much lower pay, so who knows, we might even get it taken down to 3 cpl. The thing is, we are all working for much, much less than we used to work for, having to worry more and more about how insecure how work is and nobody really gives a crap because for years now MTs have accepted this and it's really just too late now for a petition as we have already dug our grave, IMO. I have refused to do VR due to the low pay and I still refuse to. I've took cut after cut over the years and I'm just fed up with it. I know we are all worth more than this. Most of us are already working for no benefits as ICs, have for years and then we get this deal of 4 cpl VR. It's just too much and really it's just become abusive to us. I just think it's too late for a petition. It would be good if it would help, but I just think it's went on too long now. As long as MTs continue to take these cheap jobs, the poor treatment and pay will continue on and on.
