Not just employees - IC

The petition is wonderful, but it does imply that only employees are affected. What about the ICs, the ones with no PTO, no benefits, same crap handed to them, but also with taxes to pay. No MTSO has to make minimum wage for an IC. No mention is made that in addition to the slashes in pay, most companies don't even offer employee status, and don't even have to provide any type of insurance, holiday pay, overtime pay, disability, etc. I just think the petition should be altered to say employee/IC, and attention should be brought to the current conditions regarding the difference between IC and employee in this industry, and how the MTSOs hide behind the "IC wall" when we are really employees with no benefits. I know it's no comfort at all, but minimum wage is better than sitting for 7.5 hours and making less than $25.00 for the day's work.
