I worked for Synernet for about 2-1/2 years. I was even a lead at one point (huge mistake falling into that trap). This was, by far, the worst company I have ever worked for in my entire life. Yes, they are VERY strict with schedules and don't allow a lot of wiggle room or flexibility. You literally have to call to let them know if you are going to be away from your computer for more than a few minutes, otherwise expect your phone to be ringing asking where you are. Micromanagement at its finest here. Also, everything you read about the cherrypicking is 100% accurate. It's the worst I've ever seen. Oh, and if you ever complain to management about anything, no matter how minuscule it may be, they will make your work life a living hell and will mess with your work pool so that you get the worst jobs/dictators. I saw it happen many times when I was a lead. Take my word for it. You do NOT want to work here. You'd be better off almost anywhere else. I was so glad to finally get out of that nightmare. They have one of the biggest turnover rates that I've ever seen at any MTSO, including management.
